The best storytellers are the best liars. They weave you in, entertaining, a hook. You need to hear the ending. They let you wonder for small moments if you're telling a fantasy or not. It must have some truth in its core or else you wouldn't care. As you are selfish and lie to yourself from the moment you've learned how.
